Some will say that time heals wound, yes! But not in all cases. If it is only time that heals wounds, why didn’t time heal the hurt of Miss Havisham? Rather the hurt hunted her until she gave up the attost. Even at the end when she realized that she could run out of the heat of her hurt as was seen when she ran towards Pip, the decision then was too late as the fire and heat were enormous that she could not run away from it. If you are hurt, the best approach to that is not to dwell so much in your hurt and that is where the grace of God becomes paramount. You have to rely heavily on the word of God to pull through. Jesus is the best friend any one could have, the reason is that he has never failed and cannot fail. He is always a sure friend to be with.
Secondly, look out for things that bring joy and laughter from your system. Reach out for such things and dwell on them, with time when such issues occupy your life, your system will change for better
and there will be a full restoration of your joy.
Thirdly, think twice before you take any decision so that such decision will not hurt you in future, especially as it concerns relationships. Be sure before you say ‘Yes’ to anybody seeking your interest, put a lot of factors into consideration before saying ‘Yes’. No decision of your life should be taken outside God.
Fourthly, it is very important to learn to forgive easily. This is the fundamental problem which the heart suffers. But if you can train your mind to forgive easily you can be sure to jump out of that hurting situation easily. If God can forgive us our numerous sins, why not forgive others. I ask for God’s special grace in this regard.
Furthermore, stand up and move. Go about your business as if nothing of such happened to you. Mind the voices you hear, the voice of God will always encourage you to move on with your life, no matter what but the enemy will constantly remind you of your past. Follow God’s path and the peace of God which passes all understanding of humans will rule your world. Do not forger that if no one else cares God and Nina care so much about you! I love you all that are wounded at heart!!
