The Member Representing Owerri West State Constituency in Imo State House of Assembly, IMHA, Hon .Kanayo Dele Onyemaechi has described Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State as an honest leader that will always keep to his words.
The vibrant lawmaker who spoke during the flag-off ceremony of Nekede, Ihiagwa, Obinze 14KM road connecting two federal institutions and three communities in the area said today is a new dawn in Owerri West.
According to the youthful legislature, “Gov Uzodinna has fulfilled his promise to the people of Owerri West. Many people doubted that it will not be possible when I prophesized this last rainy season, but our governor (Onwa Oyoko ) has restored the confidence of our people today .Never again will anybody use this road to mock us again.”
“I am really glad to be part of today success story and must commend Governor Uzodinma because successive administrations, even past administration of Hon Emeka Ihediaoha gave out this road project but the contractor made away with the money.”
The Owerri born legislator called on the people of Nekede, Ihiagwa and Obinze to support and remain committed to the 3R Government of Sen. Hope Uzodinma.
Also speaking, Chief Ralph Nwosu, Imo State Commissioner For Works, explained that “The project was flagged-off on Tuesday with the delivery lifeline of very few months.”
The Works Commissioner who represented the Imo State Governor assured the people of quality and speedy project delivery, adding that the project has been built to last.
The proactive commissioner said,” It is noteworthy that in the next one month that the asphalted road must get to the Federal Poly Nekede gate.”
His words, “The Governor meant well for Imolites and we must commend and support his administration. He has promised to offer quality leadership. All the bad roads in Imo shall be fixed. We must be patient with the current govt. I am assuring the masses that Imo State would be better under the Shared Prosperity Government of Uzodinma”.
He reminded Imo people that the governor will always keep to his words and will continue executing quality projects in the state.
