Association of Imo petroleum marketers and dealers held their end of the year party on Thursday 17th December 2020.
The event that took place at Kelani event center new Owerri attracted many oil magnet.
Speaking to journalists during the event, the MD of GG oil, Chief Godfrey Chukwunyere described Dr. Sir Chidiebere Okorofar as a dynamic leader, adding that they saw a good leadership qualities in him and that was why they tried their best to convinced him to come and become their leader
He noted that they were happy that he accepted to come and become their leader, adding that it was not easy convincing him to come and contest to become their leader.
GG oil maintained that they have been enjoying the leadership of Eberelinks since he became their chairman, adding that he has a tremendous experience to better their association.
In his separate speech, the operation officer, Imo State fire service, Nze Francis Ihieanyichukwu Ekeocha described the event as an annual event, stressing that they were in a good relationship with the chairman of the association.
He disclosed that Sir Chidiebere Okoroafor (Eberelinks) was a nice man who has been doing all his best to make the association more great.
In their speeches, the MD of Globet oil and gas, Chief Sir Godwin Ejelukwam and Prince Joe Omenuko said that they were happy that they were now united, adding that the state government, the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) and many other agencies played with them because they were not united then.
They immensely thanked Sir Dr. Chidiebere Okorofar for trying his best to maintain peace and unity in their association, nothing that now they were united, they can achieve a lot as an association.
In his words, Sir Dr. Chidiebere Okorofar (Eberelinks) who is the chairman of the association said that he was so delighted to organized their 2020 end of the year party, adding that they have really achieved a lot since he became the chairman of the association.
He thanked the Imo State government, the police, Army, Civil Defence and their sister agencies including the fire service for all their enormous good cooperation and urged them to continue working in a good synergy with them.
