An APC stalwart and political leaders in Imo State, Chief Mike Nwachukwu has hailed the governor of Imo State, His Excellency, Sen Hope Uzodinma on his 62nd birthday.
The political leader and former Senatorial candidate who expressed gratitude to God for adding another year to the governor, described him as unusual performer.
Chief Mike Nwachukwu made the comments while fielding questions from newsmen recently.
According to him, Gov. Hope Uzodinma has performed creditably well in the midst of unexpected challenges therefore deserving of the accolades, encomiums and and the grand civic reception accorded to him by the people of Owerri zone recently.
He observed that the governor who took over the reign of power in Imo State almost the same period the novel COVID-19 pandemic struck, was not dettered by the global pandemic but rather swung into action.
Chief Nwachukwu stated that only a governor with clear focus and direction will achieve the feat Gov. Hope Uzodinma recorded in Imo despite daunting challenges.
He said that within the time under review, Gov. Hope has positively touched every aspect of Imo economy.
According to him, the roads in Imo, especially within the Owerri metropolis, are wearing new look while contructions are on going in various sites.
He noted that the health sector which was recently provided with mobile ambulance is not left out.
Chief Nwachukwu commended governor Hope Uzodinma for clearing salary arrears of Imo workers while ensuring that the 3R mantra of his administration is strictly pursued.
He called on Imo people to support the government of Sen. Hope Uzodinma and expect overall turn around in no longer time.
