Coalition of Owerri Re-awakening, a coalition of all sociocultural organizations in Owerri Zone will on Wednesday 2nd December 2020 hold the 3rd anniversary of the popular Egbu Declaration with the Theme, WHITHER THE IMO TRIPOD.
The event which will take place at Mayfair hotel Egbu Road Owerri is expected to attract creme of prominent sons of Owerri Zone across party line.
In a release jointly signed by Hon. Oliver Enwerenem President Odinma Owerri, Chief Dr. Fidel Onyeneke President Amala Owerri and Chief Martin Opara President Olu Owerri confirmed that all arrangements for the success of the event have been put in place and all the various stakeholders, the clergy, the academia, the religious organizations, sociocultural organizations, Town Union President Generals, all political appointees both in the present and previous Governments have been duly invited for the auspicious occasion.
The event is also expected to provide an ample opportunity for the people of Owerri Zone to retrospect and clinically appraise the position of Owerri Zone in Imo State political firmament visa vis the Imo Tripod and at the same time make firm resolutions on the way forward.
The event of Egbu Declaration which first took place in 2017 at All Saints Cathedral Egbu has become an annual unifying event of the people of Owerri Zone where critical decisions on the political fortunes of the zone are reached with unanimous resolution
The release further called on the people of Owerri Zone to grace the occasion with high expectations.
