A Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress,APC, Chief Ibe Franklin Chukwuemeka has called on the people of IMO State to be patient with the Administration of Governor Hope Uzodinma as he is convinced that the Governor as a humane personality is out to serve the IMO masses.
Speaking to TRUMPETA NEWSPAPER, Chief Ibe(Onwa Mbano) maintained that Uzodinma is the most unselfish and ummaterialistic Character he has ever met and therefore sure that the Governor will utilize every Kobo belonging to IMO People on the people.
The Business Mogul from Isiala Mbano LGA,IMO State,called for patience from IMO Masses, adding that Uzodinma will change IMO narrative soon as his Critics are hasty in judgment because Uzodinma will not fail in Office.
“This is a Man who doesn’t believe in accumulation of unnecessary Wealth, a cheerful Giver and hate seeing others suffer. So,I appeal to IMO Citizens to be patient With the Governor as he will not steal their money” Ibe said.
The APC Top Shot called on IMO Masses to rally round Uzodinma’s Administration to succeed, pointing that with the Masses support the Governor will have the focus and peace of Mind to deliver the Goods to IMO populace.
Onwa Mbano said that the issue of bad roads in IMO would be tackled immediately the rains are over,adding that IMO roads are still how the former administrations left them,assuring that the Uzodinma who know will change all that soon.
Ibe stressed that IMO people should realize when Uzodinma assumed office and what he met in IMO,pointing out that it is not easy to confront all the challenges facing IMO State at the same time, but said Uzodinma has done well based on the circumstances on ground adding that the Governor is gradually putting IMO back on track for the benefit of all.
“Governor Uzodinma is not a Selfish Person and from his appointments he has given sense of belonging to every Group, Zone and gender. So,let us support him to succeed” Ibe appealed.
Endsars: Police Begin Manhunt of Hoodlums Who Demolished, Looted Property In Imo
The days of those who allegedly got involved in the destruction and looting of property during the Endsars protest period are numbered as police in Imo begin massive hunt of those allegedly involved.
Imo was one of the states where hoodlums and suspected criminals cashed on to unleash mayhem which includes looting and destruction of property of private and government owned.
Worse hit was that of police where not less than seven police stations were set ablaze and crucial items looted.
Trumpeta learnt that men of the Nigeria Police Command based on the order of the Inspector General of Police have started reclaimed open spaces occupied by the irate protesters and hoodlums, the command in the state has started investigation of the various incidents and consequently survey of the masterminds.
Though details were not made available to Trumpeta due to sensitivity of the cases but underground investigation is on to arrest those behind it.
The source who pleaded anonymity further disclosed that serious investigation is on to fish those behind the illegal acts and in no distant time arrests of the culprits will commence.
It was further learnt that progress has been made and those behind shall be brought to book.
