Alleged Missing Items: Imo Ministry Boils, As Perm Sec, Directors Exchange Verbal Accusations

This may not be best times for the Ministry incharge of public utility in Imo State as it has been alleged that some electrical materials have been misplaced or missing.
This Newspaper gathered that both the Perm Sec and Directors including Senior Staff of the Ministry are now trading blames on missing cables and other vital electrical materials belonging to the Ministry said to have developed wings and vanished.
According to information available to Trumpeta, series of queries have been issued to those accused over the missing cables and other vital electrical materials.
The workers in this particular are now panicking as fear of arrest, as we gathered has made most of them to abscond from work.
All efforts made to see the Commissioner for Public Utility, Chief Barr Tony Umezuruike and his Perm Sec for their reaction on this issue proved abortive as at the time of submitting this report.
Right now the workers are in disarray following the alleged missing of this electrical materials coupled with other issues said to be taken place there which the commissioner is said to have frowned at.
Meanwhile, it could be recalled that many communities in Imo are in bad condition because they do not have transformer and other electrical equipments that will make it possible for them to get power supply in their areas.
There are serious indication that the Ministry will commence investigation to ascertain what actually happened on the alleged missing cables and other materials.
For now some Directors were said to have received queries on this development.
