2020 August Meetings: US Based Political Scientist Uloaku Oguzie Congratulates Imo First Lady, Women

Lady Uloaku Oguzie ,a United States based Military Veteran cum Political Scientist has commended the Wife of Imo State Governor, Barr Mrs Chioma Hope UZODIMMA, for her innovation and ensuring that women are not left out during this global crisis.

Lady Oguzie who hails from Umuokpo, Emeabiam in Owerri West LGA, Imo State gave this commendation yesterday In a statement by her media office made available to Trumpeta in Owerri.

Ada Imo, as popularly called, described the event as a “square peg in a square hole’’ noting that women in Imo State are one of the most resilient in community development and business.”

According to her, “I wish to congratulate Imo first Lady, Her Excellency Barr Mrs Chioma Hope UZODIMMA, Wife of the Governor of the state for flagging off 2020 Imo Woman August meetings in style.”

“I also desire to seize the platform to wish Imo women, particularly Owerri Zone, a successful outing, praying for journey mercy.”

She said the theme of this year’s women August meetings is apt and timely in addressing the issues facing the world today and the reality of recent developments and what women can do differently to adapt in the changing world.

In her words, “The program would create a forum for discussing and addressing issues that affect our women and our communities. It will create an opportunity for women to celebrate successes and opportunities for local women. These forums give a platform for women to voice their concerns and be heard. I thank the Wife of the Governor for her keen interest in ensuring that the pandemic didn’t stop this forum. I also commend her for her proactive innovation in adapting to the new normal.”

Lady Uloaku Oguzie, who commended the Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma for entrenching good governance through the execution of pro-people projects said she wished the Owerri Women and the entire Imo State fruitful 2020 August meetings and better outcomes.
