Imo Gets New CP, Isaac Olutayo Akinmoyede, As Bolaji Bows Out

Following the announcement of Nigeria’s Inspector General of Police, IGP, Mohammed Adamu, ordering the posting of new commissioners of police, Imo is set to welcome a new Commissioner.
Recall that, the posting which was announced by Force Public Relations Officer, DCP Frank Mba recently, mandated the new commissioners for Imo- CP, Isaac Olutayo Akinmoyede fdc, Adamawa – CP Olugbenga Adeyanju and Plateau- CP Edward Chuka Egbuka to resume with immediate effect.
The Force PPRO appeals for optimum cooperation by residents of the state in their various areas of operation and charged the new CPs to ensure they perform remarkably well.
“While enjoining the citizens of the listed States to accord the CPs maximum support and cooperation, the IGP charges the newly posted officers to ensure that they effectively consolidate and improve on the performances of their predecessors.”
For Imo state, the new CP, Isaac Olutayo Akinmoyede, until his recent appointment, was the Chairman Inter- Agency Consultative Committee on Elections Security (ICCES) and Former Commissioner of Police Plateau State command.
