Ex lawmaker Lawman Duruji who represented Ehime Mbano State constituency at the 8th House has come under the firing range of  the Speaker of Imo State House of Assembly,  Rt Hon Collins Chiji over unguided statements and false write ups.
Information available to Trumpeta has it that the Ex Ehime Mbano Lawmaker Duruji seems not to be happy with the speaker over the manner he vacated the state legislature through Appeal Court judgment.
Aside from several accusations Lawman Duruji leveled against the Speaker, he accused Chiji of being a dormant lawmaker who has not attracted any meaningful project in his own constituency (Isiala Mbano).
Lawman Duruji also published that the certificate of Chiji Collins is questionable.
In his own reactions to the publications which Lawman Duruji made public against him, Speaker Chiji denied all the allegations leveled against him, adding that Lawman Duruji is a confused man and frustrated to join issues with him.
He said that he is the 16th person the Ex Ehime Mbano lawmaker is accusing for his ouster from Imo House of Assembly.
According to him, Lawman Duruji had accused Owelle Rochas Okorocha, Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha and many others before now.
“It is my turn” Speaker Chiji disclosed.
In his words “Lawman was a taxi driver in USA.
I think he  is a school dropout and moreover he is the person that has the lowest qualification as a lawmaker.
Therefore nobody should take him serious at all”.
Continuing, Speaker Chiji accused Duruji of not coming to the House up to ten times in the last House, adding that he only goes for the contract he handled for Owelle Rochas Okorocha, the then Governor of Imo State.
He regretted why  a suspected school dropout like Lawman Duruji should  be allowed to say things concerning well educated people.
He challenged Lawman Duruji to come out openly to present his certificate for people to see if he has any.
Speaker Chiji Collins presented some of his score cards to include 1. Building of ICT centre in Isiala Mbano, 2. Chapel 3. Sinking of Borehole 4. Renovation of Schools 5. Taken Over 200 to abroad for studies, 6. Donating to charity as well as providing for the less privileged ones in the society.
He said that Duruji never sponsored any meaningful motion in the eight House.
“I have classmate and my higher institution is still in existence up till now therefore there is no course for alarm, the speaker finally submitted.
It could be recalled that the issue of take certificate came up some time ago and a committee was set up to handle the issue which the finally reported back to the whole House and the issue according to our source was trashed out.
