Hope Uzodinma. A Confused Governor-Says PDP

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Imo State chapter has described the Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodinma as overwhelmed by what he met in office, and therefore chose to distract Imo people by raining abuses and lies with propaganda, on his predecessor, Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha.
In a release by PDP, signed by the State Secretary of the party in Imo State, Nze Ray Emeana, the party disclosed that Governor Uzodinma is confused on what to do to attract the love of Imo people who still see him as a strange fellow foisted on them, and therefore seriously seeking for the legitimacy
The release said that it was unfortunate that nearly hundred days in office, the Governor Hope Uzodinma led administration cannot talk about anything it has done for Imo people except propaganda and mentioning of Ihedioha’s name every day.
The PDP urged Uzodinma to get on with his job of governing Imo State if he has any plans at all, as no amount of propaganda can endear him to the heart of Imo people, or make them deny Ihedioha who touched their lives within the seven months he led Imo State.
PDP said that the highest blunder committed by the Uzodinma administration was by laying allegations of mismanagement of funds against the PDP administration which he said lived according to its words of due process.
The party said it was proud that the Ihedioha’s administration left a mark both at the State and LGA levels which the Uzodinma administration cannot achieve in four years.
It said that for seven months it was in office, the Ihedioha administration paid workers salaries and pensioners allowances regularly, including embarking on various gigantic projects in the state, including building stadia, secretariats, purchase of earth moving machines in the 27 LGAs yet, the Uzodinma’s administration after collecting three months allocation cannot pay Imo workers, while the LGA allocation cannot be accounted for.
He said that Uzodinma’s administration lives on propaganda, dishing out falsehood  to the masses, which PDP said does not show seriousness on the part of Uzodinma, since governance is a serious business.
“We subscribe to wit; opinions are free but facts are sacred. It is one thing to make costly allegations, but yet another thing to prove them” Emeana said.
He said it was a lie and malicious to say that Ihedioha embezzled N19.63B belonging to Imo State, and challenged the Uzodinma administration to check how much each LGA got in the seven month period Ihedioha led the State.
“They should embark on simple arithmetic of deducting workers salary, pensions and other statutory deduction: IMSUBEB, NULGE, Local Government Service Commission, Council of Traditional Rulers, Office of the Auditor-General of LGA etc” Nze Ray Emeana said.
He maintained that a cursory analysis will only earn the Ihedioha administration praises, unlike the Uzodinma era that has nothing to show after three months in office, but rather is claiming Ihedioha’s projects as his.
