A Pentecostal Christian Church, the Miraculous Deliverance Gospel Mission located at Basic Bus Stop, on Nekede/Ihiagwa road, has reported of alleged threat of life and destruction of the church properties against their founder and cleric.
According to a statement from the church signed by Prince Eke C.O Reginald, the media coordinator of the MDGM, “it is our desired decision to make this public report to take-news, hate-speeches and threaten of life of our ordained man of God Prophet Dom Daniel Anyanwu founder of Miraculous Deliverance Gospel Mission with its headquarters at Umuoma autonomous community Nekede in Owerri West local government area Imo State. “Our reasons for this public report is obvious.
“Sometimes between June and July this year 2019, the agents of fake-news-mongering created and spread that the mentioned prophet of this Miraculous Deliverance Gospel Mission caused a tragedy by removing the private male organ of a boy who is also a citizen of Umuoma Nekede. When investigations were carried out by the Divisional Police here in Umuoma and at a hospital, it was totally confirmed even by the boy in question that the story was fabricated along with hate speeches against Prophet Dom Daniel.
Notwithstanding, recently the same gossip people reorganized themselves and came up with another malicious fake news spreading that the Prophet and his church members are allegedly responsible for the killing of a missing lady and buried the body at the bush close to the church premises here in Umuoma Nekede.
“Frankly speaking, investigations began immediately and nothing of such did happen, while the missing lady’s relations are still searching of their sister, the fake news mongering group now engaged with different ideologies to destabilize the man of God and the church services who are seriously praying for the salvation and restoration of the dignity of mankind and the nation in general. “it has come again to our information that what they do now is to lay ambush and snatch motor-bikes and cars on gun point during our church services and programmes with plans to invade the MDGM church building to kill the mentioned Prophet Dom Daniel.
In our own part, we vigorously x-rayed the whole situation and noticed that all the hate speeches and fake news mongering are purely fabricated by persons who have no fear of God, hence we made a faithful statement of facts in Newspoint Newspaper of page five (5) on the 20th November 2019.
“In this context, we are seriously and passionately praying to the Nigeria Police Force and other law enforcement agents to view this our report and react immediately on the possible means of getting the culprits for prosecution.(A STITCH IN TIME SAVES NINE)”.
“Our support is mandatory because our mission here is to faithfully propagate the word of God in any where we go. Prophet Dom Daniel is truly transparent and law abiding citizen of Imo State, he has the fear of God in him all the time, finally, we have attentioned the traditional ruler of Umuoma Nekede where we are of these threats.
