Fear Grips Ihedioha’s Appointees Over Looming Exco Dissolution

 A wave of uncertainty and fear has caught up with some appointees of the present Imo State Government as a possible cabinet reshuffle is imminent.

Reports filtered in last week there could be cabinet reshuffle of the state cabinet under Governor Emeka Ihedioha if reports emanating from his speech during last weeks retreat of new appointees were anything to go by.

Ihedioha had at the opening session of the Retreat made certain comments suggesting that some of the appointees either failed to live up to expectations or their inputs leave much to be desired.

The position of the governor fuelled speculations that heads may roll for thing to be in proper shape. The adverse effects of the permutation is the fear the looming cabinet reshuffle has created in the minds the appointees.

Trumpeta learnt that fear has already has to do with insinuations that the Governor may embark on drastic changes to either remove or change appointees in his administration.

Because none of the appointees is sure of retaining to his duty post should the reshuffle take place, uncertainly and fear of the unknown has taken over.

Our correspondent who was at the venue discovered that the complaint of Ihedioha jolted the appointees who became worried that they could lose their positions.

One of the appointees who spoke to Trumpeta revealed that majority of them especially the commissioners and special advisers are affected. “Since the governor ended that speech, we have been uncomfortable and it has created fear in us.
