The Community Ruler of Ihim Autonomous Community of Isiala Mbano, HRH Eze (Dr Oliver C. Ohanweh last week at the Isiala Mbano Police Divisional Headquarters advised State Government to fund Police Force in other to record efficiency and to also encourage proficiency among the Police in their states.
The traditional ruler HRH Eze (Dr) Ohanweh stated this during a welcome ceremony in honour of the new Commissioner of Police posted to Imo state on his familiarization tour to Okigwe zone, he however added that the insecurity looming in Isiala Mbano has drastically reduced to its barest minimum due to the good works of the present DPO Chucks Dike, and also advised criminals who are fortunate to still be in existence in Isiala Mbano to change or face the full wrath of the law as there is no hiding place for them to operate. He also encouraged the stop and search method adopted by the police force to combat crime on our high ways as it will go a long way to also reduce crime.
Mean while, Chucks Dike. C .the DPO in charge of Isiala Mbano, hailed efforts of the Governor and Mbano Indigenes, for their corporation in combating crime in Isiala Mbano stating that through the patrol team and stop and search team the crime rate in Isiala Mbano Local Government has reduced, and he also solicited more support from the people and the Government for the benefit of a crime free society.
Earlier, the Commissioner of Police Bolanta Baba Adisa during his speech promised to look into the problems confronting the division mostly in the areas of accommodations arms and ammunitions more so, he promised to reposition Isiebu Police post in Isiala Mbano Local Government and advised the Vigilante group to always report issues that posses security threat to the police rather than taking laws into their hands.
