A Chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, from Amiri, a community in Oru East Local Government Area, Imo State, Chief Felix Onuba has lampooned the immediate past governor of the State, Rochas Okorocha for what he described as act of cowardice and infantile display.

Angered by the recent altercations of the ex governor perceived to be destabilizing the peace and tranquility that has returned to the State, told Owelle Okorocha to hide his face in shame.

Chief Onuba said to Okorocha, “for rendering the State back to square one with your poor administrative escapades in the last eight years as a governor, characterized with lawlessness, hunger, substandard works, you ought to have asked the entire Imo people for forgiveness and not to spit fire”.

Speaking with Trumpeta correspondent in Owerri yesterday, Chief Onuba also known as ‘Hugo Boss’ submitted that for a man who mismanaged the resources and funds of the State to return to the State with such unguarded comments against the people’s government led by Emeka Ihedioha shows the level of his low reasoning.

The Oru East born politician and business mogul while applauding the  policies marshaled out by the rebuild government of Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha in restoring sanity in the State retorted that in less than 3 months in office, the State has gotten a facelift to greatness.

In his assertion, “Okorocha and his cohorts have no shame to disturb the peace of Imo people who are already settled with the people’s oriented government of Chief Emeka Ihedioha”.

Chief Onuba continued, ” Okorocha’s comments and actions are just macabre dance which Ndi Imo are ready to resist. He is bringing shame on all Orlu zone indigenes”.

However, Onuba pleaded with the governor and his appointees to ignore the ranting of Okorocha who he described as ‘a sinking man, even as he expressed displeasure on the assault meted on one of the aides to the State government by purported Rochas Okorocha’s loyalists.

He reaffirmed confidence that Ihedioha would, through his basket of experience and collective effort deliver true dividends of democracy and governance to the masses.

“Though the decay inherited from Okorocha and company is colossal, Imolites have confidence in the abilities of Rebuild government. Every sector is in comatose and our people are patiently convinced he would deliver”.
