DID IMO ASSEMBLY POWER SUPPLY GO TO SOUTH/AFRICA?

The Imo State House of Assembly was in a sorry state for a greater part of last week and some days ago when the members jetted to South Africa for legislative refreshment. Throughout the period the lawmakers were out, the Assembly complex was not only a ghost town but also in total darkness. No reason was given for the unfortunate blackout but POPULAR SIDE was told that the Rt. Hon Ben Uwajumogu led House went to South Africa with the Assembly Power supply. Nothing worked within that period.

The staff experienced hell while trying to do their job. The absence of power supply affected the output of the workers and paralyzed all activities in the House.

Even visitors could not bear dark state of the Assembly Complex. The absence of power left the sanitary systems in a mess with foul odor oozing out from the toilet systems. The unpleasant aroma made life unbearable for the workers. POPULAR SIDE wants to know if there was no power supply in South Africa where the members went to refuel? At least, one good turn deserves another.
