The long awaited judgment in the case instituted against the Imo state government, te Governor and Attorney General of the state against the appointment persons indicated by the Imo state University White paper into political positions and public offices comes up today before Justice Ngozi Opara of Owerri High Court.
A non governmental organization every child educational and Advancement foundation had gone to court to seek for the removal of persons allegedly indicated by the IMSU white paper which by the IMSU White paper which was gazzatted by the state government.
One of prominent personalities involved is the Secretary to the state Government, Prof Anwukah who was te VC alleged to be indicated by the said report.
Meanwhile, the Judgment at the Federal High Court Owerri, in the matter between Governor Rochas Okorocha and His Royal Highness Eze Cletus Ilomuanya which was scheduled to come yesterday could not hold following the mass transfer in the Federal High Courts across the federation.
The date of the new judgment, Imo Trumpeta learnt, would be communicated to the parties when the new Judge assumes office on Tuesday.
Many people who trooped to the Federal High Court alongPort Harcourt, Owerri, were disappointment, when it was announced that the Judgment date has been shifted due to the changes caused by transfers.
It would be recalled that Eze Ilomuanya had sued the state Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha over the alleged invasion of his palace in Owerri, by a six-man Government task force on Recovery of Government Property led by Dr Placid Ekwueme.
Eze Ilomuanya who joined the Inspector General of police and the Imo state Attorney-General in the matter, is demanding N500m (five hundred Naira) damages.
