At Last, Former Deputy Gov, Madumere Vindicated By IMHA

Imo House of Assembly lawmakers have vindicated Prince Eze Madumere the former Deputy Governor of Imo State under Owelle Rochas Okorocha’s administration.

The House of Assembly members at the valedictory session held on Monday 10th June 2019 apologized to Eze Madumere for the false allegation leveled against him.

The House resolved that the Deputy Governor last year was wrongly impeached by the House which was later faulted by the court, “Madumere suffered undue hardship, he was humiliated and denied of his rights by Governor Rochas Okorocha” House member submitted.

The eight (8) House also praised Madumere for his comportment and patience during his period of hardship.

It could be recalled that Prince Eze Madumere went to court to challenge his impeachment by the House of Assembly. After series of hearing, the court quashed his impeachment and ordered for his reinstatement as number two (2) citizens of Imo State but Okorocha and the House of Assembly under the leadership of Acho Ihim refused to obey the court. Madumere was abandoned and allowed to suffer.

His salaries were not paid and his official house was taken from him but now the lawmakers have apologized to him and begged for his forgiveness.

In addition, they want all his entitlements to be given to him including his financial benefits.

The 8th House of Assembly under the leadership of Chinedu Offor has continued to receive praises for vindicating Prince Eze Madumere the former Deputy Governor.
