Imo LGA chairmen and councilors have raised eyes brows over their suspension from office by Imo lawmakers on Monday 3rd of June 2019.
Information getting to our newsdesk revealed that the councilors and chairmen are spoil for war as they may likely to something horrible if the seven House refuses to reverse its step on the suspension.
The chairmen and councilors have been backed up their people as they have been ordered not to vacate office.
Moreover, the suspended chairmen have refused to handover to their DAGs as directed by Imo House of Assembly members.
The councilors numbering over 500 said they had an agreement with Rt Hon Chinedu Offor the Speaker to maintain peace and unity in Imo State.
According to them Speaker Offor promised that the lawmakers will not work against the chairmen and councilors but he matter decided to do otherwise to please those that they alleged to have given money to the lawmakers to sack elected chairmen and councilors in order to pave way for the appointment of Transition Committee to be incharge of the LGAs instead of the elected chairmen and councilors who have the peoples mandate “Offor will never see peace” aggrieved councilors submitted.
There serious indication that what happened on Monday 3rd of June may repeat itself at the House of Assembly complex where hoodlums wanted to invade the place to unleash mayhem but the re enforcement team that came for Rescue Mission averted the dangerous situation and saved the lawmakers from being attacked.
There are also indication that people from various communities may storm Imo House of Assembly to watch the deliberations of the House member today being Thursday 7th June 2019.
The eight House is expected to come to an end on Friday this week.
