IMOZURUKWUO FOUNDER URGES IHEDIOHA TO HIT THE GROUND RUNNING

Founder of Imozurukwuo forceful, defensive revolution train, champions of bloc voting “magic”, High Chief Uche Njoku has urged the people of Imo state to be patient with the Governor, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha.

He said, “It takes no time or effort to destroy. You can now imagine eight years of destruction and what time it will take to rebuild”.

High Chief Uche spoke recently at Owerri in an interview with newsmen noting thus: “Though counting on Ihedioha’s known dexterity in management, he really needs to get the right men with wisdom to hit the ground running as to shorten the time, because Imolites want quick answers. He emphasized there must be an economic marshal plan to get us out of the woods”.

According to him, “The architecture of the economic marshal plan should be one that will bring quick revenue for the state, fast-track wealth creation and job creation”, he re-echoed.

Imozurukwuo founder encourages Governor Ihedioha to run the state not banking on the Federal Government’s monthly allocation since oil will be out of fashion worldwide due to the new environmental revolution where oil will no longer be needed. This is preparing Imolites and future administration for the rainy day, thereby be a pacesetter administration, he said. This advice, he disclosed, he gave Rochas 8 years ago which he neglected as he was not a listening Governor noting that Rt. Hon. Ihedioha will definitely be a huge contrast, he stressed.

“Let us package and trade our local content in the international marketplace to generate foreign exchange to service our state’s economy” and more, he advised while urging the new administration to set this new standard for better Imo and posterity. “One of the ways these can be done is through technology which is readily available and can start earning revenue for the state as we speak”, he pointed out.

He said we should get the power sector right for the existing and incoming industries which must be automated to succeed, thereby giving them good standing for global competiveness.

These industries he emphasized will help bring back the middle class who will buy goods and services to service the service industries. According to him, any economy without the middle class is a dead economy.

He used the opportunity to advice the Governor to create an economic think- tank, not a bloated one as to achieve result. This team is to create a planned and organized economy for the state, he stated. He also noted that a given people who have failed to plan have planned to fail.

“Imolites look into this: Okorocha, it was alleged instigated Local Government Councils to borrow almost Nl billion each equaling nearly N27 billion. As also alleged, he spent N30 billion on the 27 LGA General Hospitals he built without any stethoscope in them, some of the buildings are uncompleted. What a grievous insult to Imolites, he borrowed N100 billion, all totaling N157 billion.

If Imo had housed this N157 billion for this economic think-tank he is talking about to design an economic master plan for Imo State, he definitely knows what the good news will be for Ndi Imo.

Recalling his advice to Rochas Okorocha on this economic marshal plan with a think-tank team with knowledge and wisdom adhered to, we will not be facing the present economic crisis in Imo state today.

He queried, “What did we get from 8 years of Okorocha’s administration? Wasted 8 years of wasted projects without economic value and extremely poor quality projects and incoherent administration without purpose. This man had the effrontery to tell Imolites he spent N30 billion to build 27 General Hospitals” in the 27 LGAs not even a stethoscope in them?
