REBUILD NIGERIA INITIATIVE LAUNCHES PROJECT ONE IN IMO

The project one (1)Nigeriaof the rebuildNigeriainitiative, Imo state Chapter has been launched.  The launching took place at the weekend at Rosy Art theatre Ikenegbu, Owerri.

Launching the project, the National Coordinator, Chief Hope Rex Lawson-said the resolve of the organization to come to Imo state was to ensure that Imo becomes the first to pioneer rebuildNigeriainitiative.

He said thatNigeriais going through another round of testing period and enjoined Imo people as well as Nigerians to live in peace and harmony and shun violence.

The National Coordinator remarked that the organization is fully set to rebuildNigeriaby spreading the message of peace to all parts ofNigeria, adding that via its solid foundation being laid, Nigerians would experience dividends of democracy at their door step.  He however frowned that the message of rebuildNigeriahas not reached the grassroots.

The son of the popular musician but late Rex Lawson advised the Nigerians to help the government to maintain firm security of lives and property by being vigilante and security conscious at their various homes.

He remarked that the rebuildNigeriainitiative have concluded plans to establish an ashore programme in all parts ofNigeria, adding that Imo State Chapter will be the first beneficiary.

On the president bid to run for the second term come 2015, Chief Lawson said that Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has the right to run for second term but argued that he may not realize the bid if the insecurity problem, especially the Boko Haram continues.  He therefore enjoined the people of Imo state to support Jonathan’s second term come 2015.

The National Coordinator revealed thatNigeriawill not record appreciable and meaningful development without peace while enjoining Nigerians to champion peaceful co-existence among themselves.

He however used the forum to decry the situation whereby politicians have mortgaged the future of Nigerians with money politics and cautioned politicians to desist from the act.  He urged them to reduce the expensive politics they have been running and give hope to Nigerians.

Chief Lawson advised Nigerians to ensure that they vote in during election period, people that know where it pinches them and of good character, at the National, State and Local level, while enjoining people to cue into transformation Agenda of rebuildNigeriainitiative.

The National coordinator thanked the Imo State Chapter for honouring him with the award of excellence and service to humanity adding that the award will spur him in rendering more humanitarian services.

In an address of welcome, the Imo State Chapter Coordinator, Chief Canice Nkemjika Okorie said the rebuildNigeriainitiative is a non political organization aimed at promoting good governance and political stability at all levels; he also said that the initiative was established to carry out programmes and activities that will benefit Nigerians.

Chief Okorie said the organization have resolved to veer into Agriculture which he said would engage greater number of youths thereby reducing unemployment.

Those present at the event include Prince Lemmy Akakem (Okpata Ozuoha) state patron, rebuildNigeriainitiative, Chief Paul Aniekwe, state coordinator,Enugustate, Chief Dennis Ejikame Okwu, National Chairman of states Advisory Board, RNI, Ahmwed Tijjani Mustapha,Kadunastate coordinator, and Hon Austine Achike among other personalities.
