Former Imo state Police command spokesman and the Divisional Police officer, DPO, of New Owerri Divisional Police, Supol Linus Nwaiwu seems to be an agile police office any day. The Uvuru-Aboh Mbaise born officer is maintaining proper alertness in his area of jurisdiction. As the officer in charge of the Division, it is a common thing to always see Supol Nwaiwu not only leading his men to operations but also moves unannounced to certain areas where they are is undertaken an assignment. During the Nde-Owerre occupation of the controversial Area K land, Nwaiwu armed with AK-47 rifle like his men was always at Area K to maintain peace and order. The order day, he supervised a checkpoint mounted by his men on the by House of Assembly/World Bank Road and managed to ease traffic caused by them during the checks. Few days ago, Nwaiwu was spotted at the Umuguma junction on Owerri/PH Road in mufti surveying how his men were searching motorists on both sides of the road. POPULAR SIDE noticed the vintage position Nwaiwu took to monitor the policemen. POPULAR SIDE is hopeful that the fair-skinned officer wants to know if his men have returned to collecting “Egunje” on the road. Bravo ex-PPRO.
