Clash of interest is rocking the political structure of Owelle Rochas Okorocha governor of Imo State in the two parties spread across the state; the Action Alliance, AA and All Progressive Congress, APC.

The war is not unconnected to the inability of party leaders/agents to return earlier monies advanced to them for logistics and other purposes meant for the botched Presidential/National Assembly election.

Trumpeta discovered that the leaders of the Okorocha Rescue Mission are at war with the coordinators and party members over the money meant for logistics which they are yet to return after the election.

According to findings, the leaders of the Rescue Mission are insisting that the money already disbursed before the cancelled election should be returned, but the followers think otherwise insisting the ordinarily, the phase of that election has gone for anyone to demand a refund.

Our newspaper learnt that at a meeting of the AA/APC perfect Alliance group in the various LGAs of the state, fight broke among the leaders and party members out as attempts by the leaders to get the earlier released monies could not be achieved, no thanks to the inability of those entrusted with it to return the cash.

Further to the crisis is the complain of those at the grassroots that the money was brought for the various political booths as compensation to their grassroots support to the Rescue Mission government led by Owelle Rochas Okorocha.

It was gathered that the trouble escalated when it was discovered that majority of those who got the party money refused to pay back as instructed by their leaders.

Youths at the grassroots who felt cheated by leaders resolved to disrupt the meeting of the wards working committee and coordinators of AA and APC.

The joint meeting of AA/APC leaders held at various local government areas on Thursday ended in fiasco as party agents joined hand with youth leaders to demand for more to enable them work for the upcoming election.

They threatened to work for the opposition group if not properly settled between now and Friday.

Further information revealed that the two parties, AA and APC uptill now are yet to settle matters that came up over the weekend at various booths in each booth.

At the ward level, the WWC takes charge but it was surprised to hear that Okorocha’s APC members cheated Action Alliance members.

The money, according to our source was not properly shared. Original party members of the AA have threatened to pull out from the Rescue Mission perfect Alliance since they were isolated in the money sharing bonanza. The aggrieved group now vowed to work for Atiku instead of Buhari in the rescheduled election coming up on Saturday.
