The People of Obowo, Ihitte Uboma, Ehime and Isiala Mbano Local Government Areas of Imo State have spoken on the reason why Zenith Labour Party and Owerri Zone ought to produce the next Governor in the person of Chief Barrister Humphrey Anumudu.
A cross section of indigenes of the areas who trooped out in their numbers during a sensitization tour held on Tuesday, revealed that aside giving Orlu zone the opportunity to rule in 1999, Barr. Anumudu and Zenith Labour Party have no record of Financial Crime and deceit.
Prior to the statement by the public, Barr. Anumudu visited the palace of His Royal Highness Eze Val Onyechinyereze Nwosu, Eze Oha I of Amato Alike, Ikenanzizi Obowo LGA, where he promised to offer people oriented leadership, while receiving blessings from the Monarch who described Barrister Anumudu as a household name.
Addressing the people of Obowo at the Community School field after the visit, the Deputy Governorship candidate, Pharmacist Hon. Okay Dike assured the people that Chief Sam Mbakwe will resurrect in Barr. Anumudu come 2019, adding that Barr. Anumudu’s emergence as governor will create employment and functional industries.
The event also witnessed a grant tour round the popular Oriagu market, the major market for Mbano citizens and other roads leading to Aba branch.
Speaking with the people of Ehime Mbano, the National Chairman of Zenith Labour Party, Honourable Chief Barrister Dan Nwanyanwu said, “I delivered Governor Olusegun Mimiko of Ondo State as National Chairman. We built world class hospitals offering free medicare. Anumudu will work for you, he will be accessible, government house is not a secret society”.
Barr. Anumudu while giving scholarship to Master Akobundu Kenneth from Umuebo, Umueziala, Ehime Mbano, a school leaver who produced a Mini Moving Trailer, restated his resolve to give free revolving loans to Imolites for medium and small scale industries and other enterprises.
The Zenith Labour Party Campaign train also held a rally at St. Cyprian’ s Anglican Church field, Ettiti, Ihitte Uboma, where Barr. Anumudu promised to bring life to Imo State, while reminding the people that ZLP is the last Logo on the ballot paper.
In an interactive session with Isiala Mbano people at the community’s school field, the National Chairman said Chief Anumudu will not toy with the Local Governments.
Other personalities present include the State ZLP Chairman, Hon. Paschal Ogu, Ehime Mbano House of Assembly Candidate, Chief Emeka Emeagwa, Ihitte Uboma, Imo House Candidate, Okechukwu Anyanwu among others.
