Akwakuma Autonomous community has presented their Eze – Elect, HRH, Emeka Regi Egwunwoke to the TC Chairman, of Owerri North LGA, Hon C Ololo. The Eze – Elect came with his royal cabinet and people of the community.
The TC Chairman receiving the Eze – Elect said this is the day that Akwakuma people are eagerly waiting to produced one of the best Eze’s in the entire South East. He prayed God to guide the Eze and asked Akwakuma people to support him. The TC Chairman reminded the Eze – Elect that he is now a father to all and not to his immediate family alone and that Akwakuma is at the centre of Owerri North.
In a brief interview with the Eze – Elect, he said that it is an honor to step into the big shoes of his predecessor, late Eze Dr Onu Egbunwoke who he called a colossus. He however pointed out that coming from a royal family and having served his predecessor, for 3 years as a Public Relations Officer, it will go a long way in helping him lead his people as a good leader. The Eze – Elect thanked the TC Chairman for receiving him and promised to invest his knowledge to the upliftment of his autonomous community.
