Senator Benjamin Uwajumogu representing Okigwe zone at the Red Chamber has accused Governor Rochas Okorocha of allegedly mismanagement fund and emptying Imo treasury.

The senator made this known in Owerri during a media interaction with journalists on Monday.

According to him Imo debt profile has risen to N3.216B adding that nothing is left in the State treasury any longer.

He further accused the governor of running a family business in government House rather than carrying Imo people along in his administration.

In his words “Nothing is left for the State, Okorocha and family have emptied our treasury but Hope Uzodinma will revive Imo economy if he eventually becomes governor in 2019.

“Our plots of lands have been grabbed by Okorocha and family” Uwajumogu hinted.

The Senator sympathized with the poor people in Imo State and prayed that Owelle Rochas Okorocha should not succeed in his plan to produce his successor. He regretted why the governor should encourage such volume of debt without paying pensioners and workers of the State their money.

Uwajumogu urged Imo people to open their eyes and never make the mistake of voting Okorocha’s son in-law Ugwumba Uche Nwosu to be the next governor.

He maintained what goes up must surely come down.

Senator Hope Uzodinma in his speech at the event center Owerri where he presented his working document to his followers raised eye brows on the financial recklessness of the Rescue Mission government and vowed that every missing fund of the State Government must be recovered if he becomes the next governor of Imo State.
