As the battle for who replaces Governor Rochas Okorocha thickens, one of the guber hopeful under the platform of Restoration Party of Nigeria RPN, Nze Francis Ugorji has unveiled his Six-point agenda to restore IMO state from mediocrity and poverty.
Unveiling the Six-point agenda on Saturday at Claret Madona Villa in New Owerri during his officially declaration for his governorship Ambition and his unveiling as the Imo state Restoration Party of Nigeria RPN, governorship candidate said when elected as governor his administration shall focus on Industrialization, Security, Agriculture, Health Care System, Quality Education and Justice for all.
“Nze Chinyere”, as he is fondly called who hails from Isi-Owere Owere Nkworji in Nkwere LGA of Imo state is a Canadian based Health Care Professional and a renowned business man in Nigeria and overseas said he has come to serve Imolites adding that his party RPN remains the party with the right structure especially for the Youths and the masses.
While calling for Imolites to vote RPN and Nze Chinyere for Imo governor, he said, “under my administration, we shall within 96hours in office salvage Owerri from the filth and purifiable refuse with a sustainable approach to management of domestic waste by technical experts.
“Our Education policy will stand to focus on quality and free education were no child will be left at behind under the slogan, “The Youths Will Always Win”.
“I have already started discussing on plans and strategies to tackle health issues with the view of providing quality health care for Imolites.
“My government when elected shall provide infrastructural facilities such as quality road, power supply, affordable houses and many more.
“Above all we shall aim to eradicate extreme level of poverty by establishing artisan outfit where our youths can be trained and retained under supervision and certified practice as against the street trading which has constituted total nuisance in our society.
Handing over the certificate of return as the state party flag bearer for the 2019 IMO guber, the state Chairman of RPN, Hon PC Amadi described Nze Chinyere as the man with the magic torch to change the narrative of Imo economy and better the life of Imolites especially the youths.
While urging Imolites to embrace RPN for total restoration and repositioning for good governance, Hon Amadi asserted that RPN stands for the emancipation of the youths as they are here to change the notion of looting and stabilize the economy.
Earlier in his introductory speech on the historical background of the party, the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Mazi Kingsley Daberechi Onuiri who represented the National Chairman, Chief Nsense Nsebong said RPN which was registered by INEC on December 14, 2017 has come to restore hope to the helpless and afford the youths a platform to become true leaders of tomorrow with energy and uprightness and called Imolites to support Nze Chinyere for governor and other political candidates of RPN.
Others who spoke at the well attended event including, Rt Hon Ekezie Victor, SUG Speaker, Imo State Polytechnic Umugwo and Mrs Nkeruka Uzoechi, a woman leader of RPN from Nkwere LGA all collaborated their support for Nze Chinyere describing him as an easy going man with the modest touch of philanthropic gestures.
They further testified of his goodwill and accessibility which according to them marks him out from other candidates pledging to work for him in other to restore Imo.
Others who attended the event includes, Nze Ohanuzuo(Running mate to Nze Chinyere), Comrade John Okere(South East Zonal Chairman of RPN), Hon John Ononuju(Mbaitoli/Ikeduru Federal Constituency candidate of RPN) and Hon Darlington Uwa(Campaign DG) among many others.
