The National Organizing Secretary of All Progressive Congress, APC, Barr Emma Ibediro has given reasons for turning his back on the political family of Governor Rochas Okorocha.
Ibediro who opened up recently in a chat with Trumpeta reporter, according to him, some members of the Rescue Mission has resolved to work against APC by joining Action Alliance AA.
He declared that APC is not in Alliance with AA and those playing double dealing by attending meetings of AA, and that of APC are causing confusion. “You cannot serve two masters at the same time, attending meeting of different, parties is anti party” he stated.
He revealed that he almost lost his job by trying to back the Rescue Mission team.
In addition he disclosed that governor Rochas Okorocha is still his master but frowned on the idea of disobeying the decision and directives of APC both at the state and national level.
“I tried for Prof Obierieri, Simeon Iwunze and Uche Nwosu, but now God have spoken and who are we to querry God.
I am the highest APC office holder in Imo State therefore it is wrong for anyone to disobey me.
I called a meeting and someone instructed his team not to attend my meeting, this is serious disobedience” he submitted.
He disclosed that Senator Hope Uzodinma is God’s sent and nothing will stop him from being the next governor of Imo State. He therefore urged his detractors to consider it necessary to make a “U” turn before it is too late. “I should be respected in Imo and any APC man or woman who disobey me in Imo is not a true APC man” he concluded. Ibediro has been under fire for supporting Uzodinma against Okorocha’s wish Onuimo leaders loyal to Okorocha took time to pass vote of confidence on him at a meeting in the LGA.
