Livinus Opara Predicts Victory For Buhari, Uzodinma ..Says PDP Is Dead, Can’t Win

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State and the founder of Rimax Institute, Lagos, Chief Livinus Opara, has expressed confidence that President Muhammadu Buhari and Senator Hope Uzodinma, the governorship candidate of APC in Imo State will win their respective positions.

Addressing newsmen on Wednesday, in Owerri , Chief Opara who is an indigene of Imo State from Ideato South appealed to the people of Imo state to massively support Buhari for  another term of office.

Chief Opara  who described the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, as a dead party, not capable of capturing Nigeria and Imo in 2019 said ,”The APC will win the presidential and gubernatorial election in 2019 as long as Buhari and Uzodinma remains the party’s flags bearers. APC support base is intact. Any Nigerian that wants to tell the truth will agree that the president has laid a solid foundation.”

According to him,” In 2015 I told my people, the people of Southeast not to contest till 2023 because Buhari will win and happened .Today I have come again to promote the interest of the APC in Imo.”

“Buhari is the answer if the people of South east must talk about presidency in 2023.  PDP is a failed party and it’s going nowhere .Our party APC is a grassroots party and by my calculation, Hope Uzodinma is already the next governor of Imo state come 2019 and I have confidence in him.”

The APC chieftain assured Imolites that Senator Uzodinma will render purposeful leadership in Imo State in line with his electoral promise if elected in the poll.

Chief Opara said, “Based on what I call the last mistake of 2015, where some Igbo’s didn’t vote President Buhari, I appealed to Ndigbo to avoid that mistake in 2019. The Igbo’s are part of Nigeria and we must remain part of Nigeria.”

Opara who is a strong supporter of the late Chief Obafemi Awolowo’s defunct Unity Party of (UPN), said “Ndi Igbo must be part of the national politics and be seen to be active in the Nigerian politics. So I am calling on all the Igbos to support Buhari this time; it is in their interest to support Mr. President.

He emphasized, “Let me say it clearly and loudly that President Buhari will, by the Grace of God, remain the occupant of the Presidential Villa. By the Grace of Almighty God, he will contest and he will win resoundingly. God, the giver of life has made him well.
