In preparation for the 2019 general elections, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Ngor Okpala LGA, yesterday inaugurated the party’s LGA Campaign Council.
The occasion which took place at the PDP office in Umuneke, Ngor Okpala LGA Council Headquarter attracted chieftains of the party in the LGA.
Inaugurating the Campaign Council, the Ngor Okpala PDP LGA chairman, Chief Morrison Njoku announced Chief Emma Nwogu, a former Council Chairman and Federal Commissioner as the Chairman, the LGA party Chairman, is to Deputise Nwogu, while Barr Asika is the Secretary, Chief Obed Nwogu is the Treasurer.
Each of the five Court Areas had a Coordinator. They are Hon Kizito Onuoha for Okwe, Rev Blessing Njoku for Mbaisii, Chief John Eke heads Igba, Chief Charles Abara is for Obike Court Area, and Nze Charles Nkwocha for Onyeaghala Nwenneya.
Chief Henry Ekpe is the Campaign Council Publicity Chief, Mrs Beatrice Nkwo is the Woman Mobilizer and Chief Martin Opara is the Youth Mobilizer.
There were also Ward Coordinators, up to the Booth levels.
The LGA party Chairman urged all Heads of the Committees to inaugurate their Subcommittees and commence work immediately.
