Imo Guber 2019: No Way For Uche Nwosu- Says Udenwa

A former Governor of Imo State, Chief Achike Udenwa has made it clear that Imo State is not laboratory where half baked individuals are foisted on Imo State to experiment with the citizens, adding that Imo State has had enough in the last seven years under Gov Rochas Okorocha’s regime.

The Statesman was answering questions on the present state of Imo, which he administered for Eight years between 1999 to 2007.

Chief Udenwa who was not pleased with the present condition of things in Imo kicked against Okorocha fronting the husband to his first daughter, among all Imo Technocrats and experienced politicians, as the only person qualified to succeed him in 2019.

The former Governor was even pained the more that Okorocha has done nothing as legacies left behind which his son inlaw, Uche Nwosu, can follow as a yard stick.

Udenwa however said that it will please him in the end, if APC chooses Uche Nwosu as its flag bearer in the 2019 Imo Governorship election, as he will pose no challenge to the candidate of his political party, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha.

He said Uche Nwosu lacked the experience and maturity to be a Governor, since all his life he has not worked any where before, except being a Personal Assistant to his Father in-law, Rochas Okorocha.
