A renowned transport guru Mr Frank Nneji, the Managing Director of ABC Transport Plc has been picked by the Imo Integrity Group (IIG) as the adopted candidate after a secret screening of over thirty (30) Imo Guber Aspirants for 2019 general election, the business mogul turned politician has been picked with hope that, if All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), will do well, let the party hand over its ticket to him, they will win the 2019 Imo Guber election. According to a press statement by the group signed by the leader, IIG, and Public Relations Officer of Imo State Town Unions, upon investigations it was found that any other aspirant picked by the party; APGA, “may not meet the challenges to win the election because (Ndi Imo Asala Anya), Imo people old and young believe that his sources of income are well known to them”.

The Owerri zone born Frank Nneji, according to the release, revolutionized transport business in Nigeria for others to emulate as he built his ABC transport plc to an international brand. “He has also established other successful business ventures like FIBI sausage, now competing with other brands with his hospitality business; he has established hotels in Abuja, Lagos and Owerri.

“Nneji is not clannish, he believes and encourages excellence in all dealings with public. These qualities perhaps made the federal government of Nigeria to honour him with the award of office of the Order Of Niger (OON)

“Frank Nneji has lived in Imo State over two decades after his graduation at University of Nigeria Nsukka UNN and more conversant with the challenges facing Imo State and their solutions. And it was for these qualities that some well meaning people prevailed on him to join the race to salvage Imo State.

“ Imo Integrity Group, we strongly believe that if Frank Nneji becomes the Governor in 2019, would revitalize the ailing state owned enterprises and parastatals like Imo Newspaper, Imo Modern Poultry, Avutu, Adapalm-Ohaji, Aluminum Extrusion Plant, Inyishi, cartboard Paper Mill, Owere Ebiri Orlu, Development Centers as well as make Local Government Council work again. He may consider to use the wasted 27 Hospital buildings built by this administration for small scale industries in every Local Government Area to boast employment for the people.

“We strongly dispel the rumour that the incumbent Governor is sponsoring Nneji’s governorship bid as it has since been unraveled that one of his kinsmen, who is also angling to be the Governor was behind the rumour just to discredit and malign Frank Nneji.

“Imo Integrity Group therefore, advises APGA to be up right and pick Nneji and win the Governorship election come 2019. We will fuse into APGA and mobilize Imo State to win the election.

“APGA better be in Government House with Nneji or lose the election with money sentiment” Prince Vincon Uwakwe Uwandu, added.
