The frontline House of Representatives Hopeful for Orlu, Orsu and Oru East Federal Constituency, Hon Chief Edwin O. Ihenacho has successfully picked the nomination and expression of interest form, under the All Progressive Congress, APC.
This move preceded the pressure from Orlu Federal Constituents, who could no longer hold on, by nodding in the affirmative, according to their yearnings for effective representation.
Chief Edwin Ihenacho is an International business mogul, an administrator, technocrat and disciplinarian.
Happily married with lovely, independent children, he hails from Orlu town in the heart of Orlu Local Government Area, Imo State.
According to the information gathered by Trumpeta Newspapers, the US based business tycoon last weekend, hearkened to the clarion call to represent them in the Green Chambers of the National Assembly come 2019, following his antecedents, by obtaining the House of Representatives form at the APC headquarters, Abuja.
He met and interacted with them, as well as his campaign team.
Chief Ihenacho expressed satisfaction, love and the chances provided to him, which led to the last Friday’s collection of nomination and expression of interest form on return from Abuja.
Seeing their cheering faces, he said the love could simply be possible through God’s grace and by their determination in experiencing a fresh breed in the National Assembly.
Giving reasons for contesting under the APC, he said it is triggered out of their show of true party men and women, which starts from the governor, Rochas Okorocha who he described as Imo messiah through his legacies.
“APC is the only political party that exists, others are just there. The good legacies that I see also propelled me”.
He also assures of dividends of democracy, ranging from quality health care delivery, as he opined he would ensure every community has access to good health centers.
On employment, he promised to enroll the unemployed youths on both skilled and unskilled jobs if elected, with his direct contacts and experiences.
Ihenacho therefore enjoined Imolites to see a proactiveness, youthfulness and vision in the choice of Ugwumba Uche Nwosu for next Imo governor.
Fielding questions from Trumpeta, the Director General of Divine Solution Campaign Organization, Hon Chief Columbus Mbo Nwadike (Ogazi-amaka) said, picking a form is an introductory process expected of every serious aspirant.
While submitting that Divine Solution Campaign Organization will not relent in working for success ahead primary and general elections, he expressed delight for the show of love by the APC family and Orlu Federal Constituents.
“This campaign team is well constituted because it spreads across the 3 LGAs. Everywhere you go, “ Okuenyeremba” is the answer. It is so, because we are grass rooted”.
Chief Nwadike continued, “what we have is APC and others. To me, there are aspirants, but in this case, he is my candidate, because I strongly believe in his vision. He is the people’s choice candidate and by God’s grace, it shall end in praise”.
In their respective speeches, a leader from Owerre-Ebeiri Ward in Orlu LGA, Prince ABC Uzoma, Hon Sandra Onyejesi from Oru East, Hon Gerald Okonkwo (Idigidi 1 of Orlu) and Chief Moses Ike (Agbanwodike-izu na Mgbee).attributed the Reps aspirant as Godsent, pointing out that he has been doing a lot for the masses before joining politics.
They commended his political movement to have come at the right time when it is mostly needed.
“He has an antecedent that others do not have. He has a very large heart, a doer. His words remain the same, unlike others. Giving him the mandate will make a positive difference from what we had seen” in the past, they concluded.
In a related development, the people of Awo-Omamma ward 11 have resolved to rally round him for the actualization of the project.
