Mrs Okorocha’s Last August Meeting Buhari’s Wife Shuns Imo First Lady Again .Why Aisha, Failed To Visit Owerri, As Woman Slumps

Aisha Buhari the wife of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has disappointed Imo State women again as she could not honour the invitation extended to her by the Imo First Lady, Nneoma Nkechi Rochas Okorocha for the opening ceremony of the 2018 August Women Meeting held at Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri.

The Nigerian First Lady is said to have ignored the invitation of Nneoma Nkechi’s August Meeting for a crucial assignment she held with women leaders of APC at Abuja where she discussed about women affirmative action and need to implement it in 2019 election.

Imolites who came to Dan Anyiam Stadium to grace the occasion were highly disappointed when they discovered that Aisha Buhari could not come to Imo State for the August meeting after series of invitations given to her by Imo First Lady, Ugo Nneoma Nkechi Okorocha, the Chief Host.

Since Rescue Mission Government came onboard in 2011 the Nigerian First Lady have not considered it necessary to honour the invitation of August Meetings to Imo State and this has made the opposition group to conclude that President Buhari and his wife are tactically avoiding the state.

Our reporter who covered the event observed that there was mix reaction over the absent of Aisha Buhari at the event which led many women Groups to leave the venue before the end of the occasion.

Trumpeta gathered that hardship ravaging Imo State affected this year’s August meeting and caused the venue to be scantity. Many leaders of the Rescue Mission and APC stayed away and could not support their women event at the match past.

Information revealed that over two (2) women slumped at the event because of hunger.

Our reporter observed that two women from Ihitte Uboma local government area collapsed during the competition.

The first one, was a middle aged woman who collapsed during the rehearsal of the match past and another woman suspect to be above 80 years slumped after taking part in the female Disco Dance at Dan Anyiam Stadium, venue for this year’s August meeting. The medical team rushed and attended to the collapsed women but later it was discovered that the slumped due to hunger and exhaustion.

According to the women, no food was given to them even water since they came to the Stadium.

Somebody who came as a good Samaritan   went and bought snacks for the women and after eating, they regained their consciousness.

The medical team said the women collapsed as a result of suffocation. Trumpeta learnt that they women came to the stadium as early as 7 pm for rehearsals.
