The Principal Secretary to Governor Rochas Okorocha, Dr Paschal Obi may likely be replaced by another Rescue Mission apostle if the rumour going round the Government House, Owerri eventually becomes true, Trumpeta can report.

Trumpeta gathered that the fate of the Ideato born PS is hanging as his present position and office may be given to someone else to handle.

Unconfirmed reports disclosed that Emeka Duru has been tipped to take over from Paschal Obi.

His removal may not be unconnected with his political ambition in 2019 coupled with other domestic issues that may serve as a set back if he continues to stay in office as the principal secretary to the Governor.

Despite speculation going round with report filtering in that Governor Rochas Okorocha is using his power to position key players of the rescue mission in strategic position at the federal level come 2019, Obi is being position to contest Ideato Federal constituency and based on that he has to leave office to prepare for his primaries to avoid litigation from his opponent.

Moreover, newspaper was informed that he is among those that are being suspected to involved in double standard. Initial report has it that he was opposed to Okorocha’s adoption of Nwosu as successor, an allegation he has refuted.

With few weeks to the APC primaries in Imo State, Governor Okorocja is said have resolved to remove all those intending to run for election in 2019. This according to our source is proactive measure to prevent fraud and block all the financial leakages. It could be recalled that the Governor, recently informed the government appointees serving under his administration to resign if they want to run for election but uptil now, they refused to comply with the directive and as a result, the governor decided to remove them one after the other.
