The flamboyant team manager of Mozambique Barr. Eneberi Ernest has boasted that his team must win the 7th edition of the Owelle Mock – Nations cup.
Speaking to ‘Imo Trumpeta’ sports chief after his team recorded its second successive win at the ongoing tournament in Orji on Monday, ‘Enibedo’ as he is popularly called explained that this year is his teams year.
“Since we entered this competition during its second edition, my team has always qualified from the group stage and last year we lost to the championsKenyain the semi – finals.
We went on to win the third place against highly rated Ivory coast team that can go all the way to win it this year”, said Enibedo.
Mozambique had on the first day of the competition defeated Tunisia by 3 – 0 and last Tuesday collected all 3points over hard fighting Angola, after beating them 1 – 0.
