Dropped LGA Party Chairman Slumps at Party Office Abuja

More stories of the Imo APC Congress and the outcome of Abuja shuttles by the various factions unfolding with details of how one of the dropped APC LGA chairman collapsed on getting information that his name was not on the list submitted at the party Headquarter, Abuja.

Trumpeta gathered that one of the out-gone party chairmen from Orlu zone who served for four years failed to have his name included in the new list that was used for the State congress sent to Abuja.

The ousted party chairman from one of the LGAs in Orlu and said to have controlling powers in the past became a victim of exclusion for suspected double dealing between the coalition and the Rescue Mission.

Information has it that the former ally of governor Okorocha during the congresses turned his back on the Rescue Mission and joined the coalition group. Sources also disclosed that he later retraced his steps back to the governor when threatened that he would lose everything gained so far.

His indecision prompted the coalition to abandon him even as Okorocha’s group also turned their back at him.

The bubble got burst for the politician at Ehime Mbano, venue of the State congress where he discovered that his name was not among those the returned as party chairmen of their LGAs.

Alarmed at the development, he ran to the Abuja party office to fight his way back but met a brick wall.

This Newspaper learnt that on getting the knowledge that he has lost the battle, the party boss developed health crisis and collapsed.

It was learnt that the collapsed politician was rushed to hospital where he developed stroke.
