Following airs of speculations and Black Mail from some Government Quarters, the member representing Oru East Local Government Area in Imo State House of Assembly, Hon Nkenna John Nzeruo has raised eyebrows over allegations against him.

According to the information made available to Newsmen in Owerri, the State capital, the embattled lawmaker Declares that he has no personal engagement with the serving Senator representing Imo West in the Senate, Hope Uzodinma.

The State lawmaker without any equivocation said, ” It is a clear fact that Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma is from my constituency, and a great thing that such a person, a ranking Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria dumps his former People’s Democratic Party and joins our great party, the All Progressives Congress, APC. However, I must state categorically clear that since the 2016 re-run  elections that brought me back to the IMHA, I have had nothing in common with the Senator till date, even though by the virtues of Local Government Area is my brother and I can’t deny that fact”.

Hon Nzeruo further opined that in Imo State, Governor Rochas Okorocha is the leader of APC, and as such has nothing against the Governor, talk more of working with the Senator against the “State Chief Executive”.

He further warned rumor mongers and his blackmailers to desist from such dastard acts, pointing out that APC is a National Party which none of the rumor peddlers would destabilize.

Similarly, he charged all to close ranks and work harmoniously for the progress and victory of the party ahead of 2019.

On the Governor’s achievements in Imo State, Nkenna Nzeruo said, “Owelle Okorocha’s leadership sagacity has transformed the State to an enviable heights which will not be forgotten by posterity, even as he extended the gestures to Oru East LGA.
