Akwara joins Race for Ngor Okpala/ Aboh Mbaise Fed Seat

 

The number of Aspirants jostling to represent Ngor Okpala/Aboh Mbaise Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives have increased with the declaration of Sir (Bar) Patrice Akwara to join the fray.

Speaking at Ward 1 in Ngor Okpala LGA, where he broke the news at the grassroot level before moving to the LGA level, the Amala born Abuja based Legal Practitioner said he is in the race to make a change that would be felt in the entire Federal Constituency within months in office.

The Graduate of University of Lagos said that he has spent the last two years, after his first outing to represent the Area in 2015, to equip himself academically for the challenges that face lawmakers at the level of Green chambers.

He said that to get set to serve Ngor Okpala/ Aboh Mbaise Federal Constituency, he has acquired four masters Degrees, with a Doctor of Philosophy (PHD) in view, adding that all these is to march his colleagues in the National Assembly word for word in agitating for the due rights of the constituency.

Akwara disclosed that lawmaking is different from the Executive Arm of Government, promising that if elected into office he will give effective representation to the Federal Constituency.

Akwara who said he will declare at the Local Government Level tomorrow, starting with Ngor Okpala Local Government Area, said later he will meet with the people of Aboh Mbaise LGA to sound them out with his ambition to be their man in Abuja.

He assured that this time around, he will clinch the ticket, pointing out that he still remain strongly in the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, under which platform he will execute the main election in 2019 when he picks the ticket.

He said that a lot of things abound for the constituents in Abuja, but only needs to put the proper person who will attract such things to the masses.

“When I get to Abuja in 2019 after the election, it would be left for the masses to judge by themselves” he said.
