Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha, the former candidate for Governorship seat under the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the 2015 Imo Governorship election, has adopted new methods in pursuance of his ambition to yet again become a Governor of Imo State in 2019.
The Ex-Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, has began to move from House-to-House, to market his project to be the next Governor of Imo State.
He kicked off the movement with a visit to Ohaji/Egbema and Oru West LGAs respectively, where he met directly with the grass roots for them to have direct inter-face with him, which his followers termed “Ama-Jehovah” style of consultating the masses.
At Ohaji/Egbema LGA, Ihedioha had interaction with all the Ward officers and Leaders of the Ten Wards in the LGA.
Ihedioha availed himself for any questions that bothered the people, asking them enquire about anything about his person.
He made it clear that people had misconception of him because of propaganda by opponents, and therefore made himself available for the masses to have a feel of the real Ihedioha, and not that portrayed by his opponents.
He was treated to a tumultuous welcome, where euphoria was clearly written on the faces of the masses, who rooted for the Ihedioha Governorship come 2019.
Among those who eulogized the PDP Chieftain was Dr Vin Udokwu, a former Chief of Staff to Governor Achike Udenwa, who was on the entourage and other leaders of the LGA.
In Oru West, the Ihedioha train stopped at the premises of Chief Peter Mgbemelu (Dum-Dum) who called out his people to receive the man he tipped to be the next Governor of Imo State come 2019.
He said Ihedioha possesses the qualities and pedigree of the type Imo needs now to fix the mess the outing Governor, Rochas Okorocha would leave behind.
Ihedioha addressed the people from the depth of his heart in a quiet and sober setting, explaining that he has the experience, contacts, character and capacity to wrestle power from All Progressive Congress come 2019.
The Team later stormed the home of Chief Green Iheaka who made it clear that Ihedioha is the solution to Imo State in 2019, because he is tested and trusted.
