The Ikeduru Chapter of Mavericks For Greater Today (MFGT) has called on the entire Ikeduru eligible electorates mostly the Youths to embrace wholeheartedly the political reorientation gospel which the organization has continued to preach in different avenues, gatherings and fora.
Speaking in a State wide convention organized by the formidable Movement recently in Owerri at her State Secretariat located at UUC Global Plaza along Onitsha Road, The Ikeduru Chapter’s Visionary and Apex Leader Chief Amadi Alonzo a renowned opinion moulder and philanthropist unequivocally stressed the need for the Youths to eschew violence, robbery, hooliganism, political thuggery, as well as the mundane mentality of rating the credibility of any political aspirants based on the amount of money he / she throws around or is ignorantly perceived to have starched in the various local and foreign bank accounts.
Rather the Ikeduru electorates mostly the Youths who constitutes the over 60% of eligible voters, should look inward to critically assess the various aspirants jostling to occupy any elective positions such as the Ikeduru State Assembly, the Local Government Area Chairmanship, Councilors etc based on their track records, verifiable means of livelihood and academic backgrounds in order to support and elect our best brains in the forthcoming Local Government Area election and the 2019 general election.
Recalled that MFGT as a Proactive and a vetting platform for the assessment of the various aspirants of any political parties in the State and a strong voice for the Youths’ political and economic emancipations and sustainable development, is today a household name in every political discussions across the State as the founder Prince MacDonald Akano and the Board of Trustees made up of seasoned Imo Business moguls and political heavy weights are not leaving any stone unturned in redefining the political standards and terrains of the State, righting the wrongs as well as giving the teeming Imo Youths their pride of place in every facet of human endeavors.

While Comrade Bright Ahamefule, the Ikeduru Co Ordinator urged the teeming members including the 12 INEC Wards and 147 Booths Facilitators to remind committed in the struggle because the Ikeduru of our collective dreams is achievable only when we purge our selves of sentiments, greed, envy, and personal benefits. Noting that we cannot afford to fail on our various entrusted responsibilities towards a better and brighter Ikeduru.
