A household name in the world of business, and top flight aspirant for the Imo State House of Assembly position for the Ikeduru State Constituency, under the All Progressive Congress, APC, come 2019, Hon Ifeanyi Opara has handed over twelve Sienna vehicles, with four for a start, to his support group (campaign team).
The presentation took place on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at the Owerri residence of an Ikeduru born politician, who doubles as an APC apex leader of Ikeduru LGA, Prince Charles Amadi (Charlvon).
Earlier in his speech, the Assembly hopeful described his political aspiration as a clarion call to service, pointing out that he is in the race to give effective representation to his people, which, according to him has not been extended his constituents.
Opara revealed that before now, he has been impacting positively on the lives of Ikeduru people and beyond, hence his resolve to do more if given the opportunity to serve.
The Real Estate guru further said, “I am not in the race for personal gains, because God has already blessed me. There is no gain saying that Ikeduru people need a vibrant voice in the State House of Assembly. Someone who will sacrifice his experiences, resources, time and energy for their welfare. And it is on that cause, I have made myself available for the race of selfless service to humanity “.
To his support groups, Opara enjoined them to see themselves as privileged to be counted among the “instruments” of change that would better the lives of Ikeduru at large. He urged them to discharge their duties without any bitterness or envy, but should welcome all intending members for the overall interest of APC and her aspirants.
The politician noted for giant philanthropic gestures however reaffirmed his strong support for Ugwumba Uche Nwosu’s guber ambition, saying he sees no other competent hands than the Chief of Staff to the Imo State governor.
Handing over the vehicles to the beneficiaries, the Board of Trustees, BOT, Chairman of Ugwumba Movement, and Ikeduru apex leader of APC, Prince Charles Amadi attributed Ifeanyi Opara as a prosperous business mogul, whose goodwill has been felt by all.
He said that IFECO has shown much love by donating the vehicles, stressing that it’s the first time in the history of Ikeduru for an Assembly aspirant to donate vehicles.
Charlvon therefore enjoined the campaign team to utilize the opportunity in propagating support for Uche Nwosu, other APC aspirants, and above all, the donor.
Speaking on behalf of co-beneficiaries; Henshaw Uchegbu (Coordinator), Duru Andrew (Youth Leader), Mrs Iwuamadi Ciata (Woman leader), Chief Hyacinth Edoziem Chima (Facilitator of IFECO Support Group) while thanking the donor assured to mobilize effectively.
He said, “The gift will make our party more strong and attractive, especially for those disillusioned for lack of incentives will now see reason to be steadfast. Indeed, hard work pays. May God perfect the aspirations of Ifeanyi Opara “.

Trumpeta Newspaper also gathered that IFECO has employed over five hundred workers under his payroll, while over 60percent of them are of Ikeduru extraction.
