Youth of Ihitte/Uboma Local Government Area of Imo State, have given their massive support to Barrister Kelechi Emeakaraoha and urged him to contest for the Ihitte/Uboma State Assembly seat of 2019.
They explained that as a philanthropist who has the utmost interest of his people of Ihitte/Uboma at heart, he would use the instruments of legislation to attract democracy dividends to the constituency.
Giving more credence to their unalloyed support, the Ihitte/Uboma Chapter Chairman of Joint National Association of Persons living with Disability, Mr. Charles Mbachu, and his NURTW (Okata Unit) counterpart, Mr. Douglas Onuoha severally described the Hon. Barrister Kelechi Emeakaraoha as being highly devoted to the welfare of the poor, and as a “grass root man” who should count their support in his political aspirations.
The Ihitte/Uboma Youths maintained that Barr. Kelechi Emeakaraoha has what it takes to represent them in the house since according to them he has been helping them since 1999, offering free medical services till date, clothed 23 Priests newly ordained for the Catholic Diocese of Okigwe, donated new tabernacle to St. Anthony’s parish, and recently donated a brand new Ex-Ray to Madonna Austria Hospital in Ihitte/Uboma LGA. So also has continued to provide facilities to the people of Ihitte/Uboma Local Government Area.
For the time being, Bar. Kelechi Emeakaraoha, has called on his people to go and register and obtain their permanent voter’s cards to enable them discharge their constitutional obligation, advising that they should not trade their vote in exchange for temporary favour. He noted that legislative business is a serious issue and equity should always be observed, adding that if elected he would pay special attention to creation of job opportunities to the youths, since according to him people can testify to his pedigree and the antecedent of Emeakaraoha Royal dynasty.
