Imo Guber 2019 Onyearugbulem Vows To Enthrone Development

A Governorship Aspirant in Imo State, under the platform of Labour Party, Engr. Anthony Onyearugbulem (Jnr) has expressed sadness over the dwindling fortune of Imo State in the midst of abundant human and natural resources, but pledged that everything will turn to good if voted as Governor of the State come 2019 election.

Speaking in Owerri, the son of a former Military Governor of Edo State, late Navy Captain Anthony Onyearugbulem, maintained that in technical terms, nothing is working in Imo State except the grandstanding of those in Government, which amounts to nothing tangible to the welfare of the suffering masses.

The Ikeduru LGA born Guber hopeful said that if his type mounts the office of Imo Governor in 2019, the populace will feel real development, as all the sectors of the State will witness proper reorganization that will touch the masses.

Onyearugbulem (Jnr) outlined some of his well-thought out policies to include Education, which he described a failure in the current administration in the State, despite Governor Rochas Okorocha’s much-orchestrated Free Education policy.

“There is nowhere in the world free Education works. Education is an Asset, and therefore you need to invest in it. What you call free education in Imo State is a fraud” the youthful political hinted.

He made it clear that his public leadership is with possibilities based on provision of opportunities for the teeming Imo population, through productivity and recognition of talents, and not by relying on Federal allocation every month.

“Public goods: Health, Education, Roads, Water, Law and Order must be provided by our Government. Water-pipe-borne water, for instance is a public good that would yield revenue for the State” he assured.

He said that Health care can be made affordable to the people, through public-private sector partnership, and not the bogus policy of Okorocha’s administration which has rather killed public Health in Imo State, adding that his administration will take Health care to the door steps of the masses.

Onyearugnulem disclosed that improvement of the general infrastructure in the State will be taken as a priority, but based on professionally agreed working system.

“Roads have become a sour point in the existence of our State. Too much attention has been given to roads for cars above that of human beings. Human beings deserve to walk on paved paths. We must build roads that will save ergonomics” the London-Trained Engineer said.
