Ekezie Declares for Okigwe North House Of Rep. Seat

A Real Estate Guru, Sir .Stanley Ekezie has officially declared his intention to contest for Okigwe North Federal House of Representatives seat come 2019.

Sir Ekezie  announced his decision to contest for the Okigwe /Onuimo/Isiala Mbano Federal Constituency seat at a meeting  held with the members of the Peoples Democratic party LGA  executives ,Wards officials  and members of his campaign team.

Sir Ekezie vowed to be a servant leader if given the opportunity to represent the people of Okigwe North constituency, even as he promised to offer effective representation, overall development and exemplary leadership in the Green Chambers of the National Assembly come 2019.

He told the party chieftains that his foray into politics was informed by the passion to serve his people and also correct misrepresentation of previous politician, pledging to render what he called peoples based representation.

The young and vibrant Ekezie pointed out that there was need for a change in the leadership of the constituency to reflect the mood of the nation.

`My candidacy was borne out of the realization that men of conscience do not have to keep quiet when everything seems to be going wrong.

What is needed this time in Okigwe North federal constituency is not  brawn but brain and face and voice that can bring back confidence and hope to the people,’’ he said.

According to him, “Okigwe North has been on my mind for years now. My decision was not reached over night and what I propose for Okigwe North is not what you  used to have but a peoples based representation that will represent the collective interest of our people .I have consulted widely  and have been consulted too. I have presented myself for service not just for 4years but beyond. I am a youth oriented person and my tenure will be a youth empowerment tenure. I will be a servant leader and promise to be accountable and accessible.”

Sir Ekezie opined that one tenure is enough for him to deliver dividends of democracy, noting that he had decided to make name for himself if given the opportunity to represent Okigwe North in the house of representative.

Speaking also the Director General DG of Stanley Ekezie Campaign Organization, Mr .Emmanuel Japheth described Sir Stanley Ekezie as man with lofty and good vision with capacity to transform Okigwe North Federal constituency.

He advised the people of the area to vote wisely and not mortgage their conscience for a pot of porridge.

In his remarks, Hon .Pius Omah PDP LGA Chairman promised him and every aspirants running under the platform of PDP of level playing ground.
