An unmarried lady by name Onyemauwa Iheoma Victoria from Obowo Local Government Area of Imo State has become the toast of all young men in Owerri after winning Governor Rochas Okorocha’s N2.7m raffle on Saturday of February 2018 at Hero’s Square as part of Rochas Foundation 20th Anniversary.
Our reporter observed that the lady was initially rejected by men because of poverty that ravaged her family after losing her parents early in life.
An opportunity came her way when her name was listed among those that will go for the raffle draw of N2m, furnished building, two taxis and other awards to mark Rochas foundation 20 years anniversary in Nigeria.
Eventually her name was mentioned as the overall best winner and all these items were handed over to her by Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State who also promised to sponsor her marriage if she eventually chooses a man of her choice before the end of this year. The Governor made the issue open to all men and without wasting time more than 100 young men indicated interest to get married to the single lady, Onyemauwa who said she has been longing to get married but because of poverty, men deserted her and she chose sweeping the House of God on daily bases.
At last the Governor resolved to screen all those that indicated interest to marry the lady. The Governor promised that the lucky man will go home a millionaire with so many items that will make him rich. All the men now have gone to churches to fast and pray in order to be highly favoured. One of the men who spoke to our reporter said he has been looking for a way to get the girls number so that he can beg her to marry him.
