Charles Onu Clocks 60 Years In Style
On February 24, 2018, all roads will lead to St Joseph’s Catholic Chaplaincy, Imo State University, (IMSU) Owerri, as business mogul cum politician, Mr. Charles Onu joins the “60th club” in style.
After the Church service which commences at 11.20am, the train will move to one of the biggest event centers in Owerri city, known as Mega 1 events Place, located at No 1, Akanchanwa Avence, New Owerri, for the mother –of –all Birthday parties.
Onu, a jolly good fellow and young man at heart, uses this medium to invite friends, relations, political and business associates to join him celebrate sixty years on earths.

One prominent Imo State citizen who will soon join the club of grand fathers is the Chief Kingsley Ufere. A notable politician of repute and newly inaugurated Board member of FCDA, Ufere is giving out the daughter’s hand in marriage. The beautiful daughter Adaku Abimbola Ufere, lawyer and the reigning Africa Attorney of the year is getting married to Afetsi Besa Awonnor, a Ghanian and son of late Carreer diplomat Amb (Professor) Kofi Awonnor, Ghana’s former Ambassador to USA and Ghana’s Perm Rep to the United Nations. The event is scheduled for Ufere’s country home at Ndi Amazu Uno, Arondizuogu in Ideato North LGA. The Ikenga Izuogu is charged to change status in no distant time.

Attention of the State government has been drawn to the disturbing activities of men of the police force stationed along Amakohia road, close to the flyover.
Information gathered stated that, the mobile officers while going about their normal duties of checkmating crime on the road have chosen to cause serious traffic gridlock on the road.
Road users have complained bitterly at the appalling attitude of mobile police, despite the expanded state of the road to ease traffic by the rescue mission government, people are still always held ransom at that point after along stay at work.
