The All progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Njaba Chapter, have repositioned itself to attain enviable heights and dominate the political landscape in Njaba LGA.
At an enlarged Executive Committee meeting of the party held on Friday, August 10, 2012, the party appointed Otunba, Chief, Chike Bliss Asonye (Promaxx) as the party’s Apex leader in Njaba. It also elevated Chief Rueben Okoro as its patron because of his towering political influence.
Okoro is the President General Orlu Zuru Mee Cultural Organization.
The Exco committee made up of Local Government Executives, Ward Chairmen, Secretaries, Women Leaders, Youth Leaders and Ward Caucus leaders, including critical stakeholders such as APGA elected members and government appointees, former candidates and aspirants to elective positions in government, also appointed Chinedu Iwuajoku, the caucus leader of Umuakah Ward 1
The party stakeholders explained that it decided to appoint Promaxx its apex leader as a way of giving him the opportunity to work towards the actualization of his pledge to work in love and harmony with other members of the party to take APGA to greater and enviable heights.
Present at the expanded Exco meeting were Nze Uche Rajis, immediate past TC Chairman Njaba LGA, Capt Chris Ibekwe (Rtd), SA to the Governor Orlu Mayoral Affairs, Dr. BMC Amadi, Deputy Chairman Imo Teaching Hospital Management Board, Dr. Nath Ndionuka- Anokwute (Phd), the first APGA Njaba Chairmanship candidate(2003); Hon. Charles Ike, APGA House of Assembly candidate (2011), a representative of Ambassador Nonye Rajis- Okpara, Nigeria’s Ambassador to Singapore, Chief Demian Ezeji, and Patron Chief (Dr) Chinedu Iwuajoku, as well as the Orlu Mayoral Woman Leader, Mrs. Adaobi Ijeoma.
