St Michaels Catholic Church, Eziama Ikeduru LGA went agog at the weekend with the redemption of an Air condition seater Bus earlier promised by Prince Charles Amadi “Charlvon” four months ago to the Catholic Women Organisation.
The presentation of the bus to Catholic Women Organisation (CWO) was made by the wife of the donor Mrs Yvonne Amadi at Eziama, during the grand finale of the 2012 Eziama women August meeting.
Earlier in his speech, Prince Amadi told the women, that they are the most important part of a family, therefore should always give positive support and advice to their husband and family members for a better society. He said that he was deeply touched by the transportation, problems of the women stating that is why he had to intervene and also promised other churches to do the same. Prince Amadi appreciated the gesture, given by his wife to Eziama women with the sum of N200, 000 as he charged them to embrace and support the quest of Owerri zone to produce the next governor of Imo state come 2015.
The Women had earlier in their address, extolled Prince Charles Amadi for all his humanitarian services to the people of Eziama which include, scholarships Employment free loan scheme, building of houses for indigent families/widows.
