It was a memorable occasion for the families of Est. Surv. & Dr (Mrs.) Basil E. Ogwunga of Umuaria Obokwu autonomous community in Ezinihitte Mbaise LGA and Late Chief Sir A.K Opara (aka Panza) & Lolo Lady Clementina Opara of Umueze Ogwuama in Ahiazu Mbaise LGA both in Imo State as they witnessed the (Ogba Nkwu) traditional wedding of their children, former Miss Chidinma C. Ogwunga and Mr. Iheanyichukwu .A Opara last Saturday 2nd December, 2017.
The high profiled traditional wedding which took place at the country home of Est. Surv. And Dr (Mrs.) Basil E. Ogwunga (close to Saint Benedict Catholic Church) Ezinihitte Mbaise LGA, Imo State, witnessed de crème de la crème within and outside the shores of Nigeria celebrate the two love birds Chidinma & Iheanyichukwu as they danced to the admiration of all the guests.
Speaking to Trumpeta extravaganza, the groom, Mr. Iheanyichukwu .A Opara thanked God Almighty for his wife who he described as a beautiful friend, a wife, sister and companion. According to him, “words are not enough to describe my lovely wife. But to make it short, my wife is a woman worth more than gold, that is she is prayerful, intelligent, obedient, supportive, respectful, non materialistic and above all so beautiful. However she is my best friend and I thank God for bringing us together” he said. He also appreciated all who turned-out for the wedding and wished them all the best their heart desires.
The beautiful light skinned bride, fit for a model, Mrs. Chidinma C. Opara who was beaming with smiles, described her Mr. Iheanyichukwu, as a loving husband and a hardworking man, she prayed God to continue strengthening him in mind and body as they progress in their marital life. She thanked God for the successful outing and support from family, friends and well- wishers that graced the occasion.
The chairman of Abundant Nigeria Renewal Party ANRP, Hon. Chibuike Oziri Nwachukwu and Chief Longinus Nnodim advised the love birds to love and respect each other at all times even in the face of challenges, he encouraged them to become a reference point to other young and intending couple. He thanked God for the life of the bride and groom whom he described as two ‘better halves’ and prayed God Almighty to bless their union fruitfully, financially according to his Will.
